II. Shoe Inspection and Factory Verification Process
(1) Preparations before inspection and business collaboration
Verification of data confirmation:
After receiving the order contract, QC needs to verify whether all the order information is complete, including the contract and packaging information, signature confirmation samples, production operation sheets, etc.
It is necessary to verify the requirements for the correct side labels, water washing labels, trademarks, etc.
Confirm the technical parameters such as the shoe size, the length of the sole and heel, and the length of the laces.
Clarify the requirements for both inner and outer packaging, such as the thickness of the carton, the printed content, the sealing method, the shoe box, the tag, the barcode, etc.
Confirm the written notice that the customer has specifically emphasized.
Factory inspection assessment:
Evaluate the new factory, including its development capabilities, management level, production capacity, product quality, cooperation willingness, factory appearance and price level, to ensure that it meets the corresponding factory inspection certification requirements.
(2) Inspection Execution Process
Schedule arrangement:
The QC department needs to request the factory to provide a production schedule based on the contract delivery date, and use it as the basis for inspection tracking.
If any abnormal progress is detected, it is necessary to promptly request the factory to make adjustments and report to the relevant sales representatives to ensure timely delivery.
Sample fitting confirmation:
The QC supervisor is responsible for conducting fitting checks on private model products before mass production, to ensure that the length, thickness, placement, toe-up angle, etc. meet the requirements.
Confirm the comfort level, such as whether the big toe is under pressure, whether the upper part of the shoe is pressing on the back of the foot, and whether the heel falls off.
If any problems are identified, the factory must be immediately instructed to stop operations and a discussion should be held with the technical supervisor. Production can only resume after the problem has been resolved.
Full set of trial production inspection:
Through paper mock-ups and knife-cutting tests, we will examine whether there are any technical issues with the full-number upper and assess their impact on the production quality.
The private model products are confirmed by the QC supervisor and the technical supervisor; the public model products are confirmed by the QC supervisor and the factory technician.
The QC personnel must be involved throughout the process, grasp the key points of quality control, and ensure that the products meet the standards of inspection and verification.
Summary
The inspection and verification of shoes is a crucial step in ensuring product quality and safety, covering aspects such as the shoe surface, sole, accessories, and stability. By strictly adhering to the inspection and factory verification standards and improving the inspection process, the product qualification rate can be effectively enhanced, ensuring that the products pass quality certification and meet the high standards of the market and consumers.
