1. Appearance and packaging standards

Reference standards: BS6206, EN12150, EN14072, ASTM C 149, ASTM F 2179

1. Appearance inspection requirements:

  • Any defects that may cause harm to the user during actual use are not allowed.

  • There should not be any cosmetic defects such as damage, chipping, scratching or cracking.

  • Products must comply with local regulations in the country of sale and the specific requirements of customers.

  • The structure, appearance and materials of the product must meet customer requirements or be consistent with the confirmed sample.

  • Product functions must meet customer requirements or be consistent with confirmed samples.

  • Markings/labels on products must comply with regulatory requirements and be clear and unambiguous.

2. Packaging requirements:

  • Products must be adequately packaged with materials of sufficient strength to ensure that the goods arrive at the destination warehouse in a saleable condition.

  • The packaging materials must effectively prevent damage to the goods during transportation.

  • Box marks, barcodes, and labels (such as price tags) must meet customer requirements or be consistent with confirmed samples.

  • The overall packaging method and materials must meet customer requirements or be consistent with the confirmed sample.

  • Illustrations, instructions, labels, warning statements, etc. must be clearly printed in the language of the users of the target market.

  • Illustrations and instructions on packaging must accurately reflect the actual product and its functions.

  • The packaging materials and method of pallets/crates must be approved by the customer.

2. Inspection and testing items

  1. Size Measurements: The measured data shall not exceed the tolerance range of ±5% required by the specification.

  4. Thermal shock testing:

    • Pour water at 85±5°C into the product and keep it for 3 minutes.

    • After pouring out the hot water, immediately add water at 35±5°C and keep it for 3 minutes.

  5. Tilt test: Inject the designed volume of water into the product and place it on a 10-degree slope in the most unfavorable position under normal working conditions.

  6. Water leak test: Fill the product with water or add the designed volume of water, place it on a piece of white paper and let it stand for 5 minutes.

  7. Drop box test: (Performed in accordance with relevant standards, such as ISTA 1A, etc., after testing, the product should be free of defects such as damage that may affect sales).
