Full-process analysis of third-party inspection companies: Inspection, factory audit, testing, certification - one-stop service for all these aspects

The inspection process of the third-party inspection company's inspectors is similar to that of the export company, but it places greater emphasis on data verification and taking photos for evidence. Since the data is often obtained after the shipment and there is no sample for comparison, the inspection work must be more rigorous. The following is the complete process of inspection, factory inspection, testing, and certification:
I. Supplier Evaluation (Core of Inspection)
After accepting the client's commission, the inspector conducts a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the factory, including:
Are the production equipment, fixtures, raw materials and documents complete and in compliance with the customer's requirements?
Are the quality control records of the factory valid and can they ensure the quality of the products?
Provide customers with important information about the factory's production capacity and quality management level.
The factory inspection results provide a basis for subsequent certification.
II. Initial Inspection (IPI) - Pre-production Inspection
Thoroughly inspect all production materials, components, and production methods, and compare them with the samples provided by the customer (gold samples).
Ensure that the product is consistent with the sample and that the production process is correct.
Timely identify material issues to prevent batch defects.
This stage falls under the initial control of the inspection process.
III. Mid-term Inspection (DPI) - Inspection during production
Randomly sample from semi-finished products or packaged finished products, and conduct inspection and detailed tests.
Identify early problems, propose improvement measures, and provide feedback to customers.
Avoid the continuous production of a large number of defective products, and predict the production efficiency and completion time.
At this stage, the inspectors need to take photos as evidence and record improvement suggestions, in order to retain traceable information for the subsequent certification process.
IV. Final Receiving Inspection (FRI) - Final Inspection Before Shipment
When 80% of the products have been packaged, samples are randomly selected according to statistical sampling standards such as ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 and MIL-STD-105E.
Check the packaging method and quantity, and conduct a detailed inspection of the appearance, functions and related tests.
Confirm that the product meets the customer's requirements and verify the consistency of the sample.
Make an overall assessment of the entire batch of goods to ensure that defective items do not leak out, and notify the customer of the delivery date or the handling plan.
The final inspection report is a crucial document for product certification.
V. On-site Inspection (Full-process Quality Tracking)
For large or long-term orders, the inspectors stay at the factory to conduct full-process quality tracking.
From the input stage, through the production mid-stage to the shipment, implement inspections and monitoring.
Prevent any impact on order delivery due to quality or delivery time issues.
On-site inspection also includes continuous supervision during the factory audit.
VI. Full Inspection (100% Inspection)
For high-value and high-demand products, a full inspection is carried out.
Each product is inspected one by one by the quality inspector, significantly reducing the risks for both the factory and the merchants.
The full inspection report is the highest level of inspection and certification proof.
Summary
The third-party inspection company conducts the entire inspection process through supplier assessment (factory inspection), initial inspection (IPI), mid-term inspection (DPI), final inspection (FRI), on-site inspection and comprehensive inspection. This forms a complete inspection, factory inspection, inspection and certification chain.
