Textile Exchange Supply Chain Management Series Certification

In order to ensure the reliability of product content claims and combine them with the requirements of modern sustainable development, Textile Exchange has developed a series of supply chain supervision (Chain of Custody) related certifications, including but not limited to: RCS, GRS, OCS, GOTS, RWS/RMS/RAS, RDS and other series of standards.

The Textile Exchange's supply chain supervision certification services include but are not limited to: RCS, GRS, OCS, GOTS, RWS/RMS/RAS, RDS and other standards .

RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) specify requirements for third-party certification and production and marketing custody chains for recycled inputs. The common goal of these two standards is to increase the use of recyclable materials. GRS includes additional standards for environmental treatment, social responsibility requirements and chemical restrictions, which can reduce the harmful effects of production on people and the environment and ensure the sustainability of product processing.

2. OCSrenzhen

OCS (Organic Content Standard) certification ensures that the value chain of organic ingredients from farm to final product is maintained. The standard stipulates the requirements for organic inputs and production and marketing supervision chains, provides companies with a trustworthy logo, and conveys the value of organic to consumers, providing organic agriculture with a wide range of global organic market opportunities.

3. GOTS Certification

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) has been promoted in the market in recent years. GOTS is the world's leading organic fiber textile processing standard, including ecological and social criteria, and is supported by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. The GOTS logo proves the organic content of textile products and is a reliable guarantee of the environmental and social responsibility of the supply chain. Certified final products may include fiber products, yarns, fabrics, clothes, home textiles, mattresses, personal hygiene products, and food contact textiles.

4. RWS/RMS/RAS certification

RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certification, RMS (Responsible Alpaca Standard) certification, RAS (Responsible Mohair Standard) certification are all certifications of TE Textile Exchange, but they are distinguished by different materials. RWS is the wool standard, RMS is the mohair standard, and RAS is the alpaca standard. These certifications provide the industry with a tool to identify farmers' best practices. Ensure that the wool comes from farms that adopt progressive land management methods, fully respect the animal welfare of sheep and respect the five freedoms of animal welfare. Ensure that certified materials have a strong chain of custody as they flow through the supply chain.

4. RDS Authentication

The RDS (Responsible Down Standard) is a down responsibility standard because the down used to fill consumer products comes from production and processing supply chains around the world. Therefore, retailers and consumers cannot fully understand the source of the product production and its production conditions. This situation has recently attracted people's attention to the welfare treatment of waterfowl animals and the lack of traceability of down products. In order to ensure the accuracy of the final product life, it is necessary to form traceability of down from the source to the final product.
