1. Appearance quality inspection standards

1. Wood component inspection

• Material requirements:

  • No through cracks (length > 50mm will be rejected)

  • Decay area ≤ 20% (inner surface)

  • Section diameter ≤ 12mm (except for special designs)

• Defect handling:

  • Allowable repair defects ≤ 4 (external surface)

  • Color difference of repair materials ≤1 level (GB/T 250)

  • Worm-eaten holes must be filled and reinforced

2. Inspection of wood-based panel components

• Surface quality:

  • Dry and wet flower area ≤5% (inner surface)

  • Scratch length ≤ 30mm (depth ≤ 0.1mm)

  • Color difference ΔE≤1.5 (measured by spectrophotometer)

• Structural requirements:

  • Edge peel strength ≥100N/cm

  • Plate warping ≤3mm/m

  • Hole position deviation ≤0.5mm

3. Metal accessories inspection

• Surface treatment:

  • Electroplating layer thickness ≥8μm (X-ray fluorescence method)

  • Salt spray test ≥48 hours (ISO 9227)

  • Coating adhesion ≥3B (cross-hatch method)

• Structural safety:

  • Exposed thread chamfer ≥0.5mm

  • Tensile strength of welding point ≥300N

  • Hinge life ≥ 20,000 times

2. Structural safety inspection standards

1. Edge and tip protection

• Chamfer specifications:

  • External angle R ≥ 10mm or arc length ≥ 15mm

  • Internal angle R≥2mm

  • Contactable edge chamfer ≥0.5mm

• Protrusion protection:

  • If the protruding length is greater than 10mm, a protective cover is required.

  • The protective cover does not fall off when the pulling force is ≥90N

  • The ends of tubular parts must be closed

2. Hole clearance requirements

• Safety distance:

  • 5mm＜Aperture＜12mm (anti-pinch finger)

  • Clearance between moving parts <6mm or >12mm

  • Guardrail spacing 60-75mm (anti-stuck head)

3. Stability testing

• Overturning test:

  • Tilt 10° without overturning

  • Stable with a load of 50kg and a tilt of 15°

  • The drawer can be fully opened and loaded with 20kg without tipping over

6. Packaging and transportation inspection

1. Packaging specifications

• Protection requirements:

2. Transportation testing

Implementation of this specification must comply with the latest requirements of GB 28007-2011, "General Technical Requirements for Children's Furniture." Manufacturers are advised to establish a digital quality traceability system and maintain video records of key processes. Exported products must also comply with standards such as EU EN 71 and US ASTM F963. Smart children's furniture must also undergo electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and wireless communication (RF) certification testing.
